A seat at the table
A little early.
A lot to try.
Your recipes. Your kitchen. Your first taste of Zuppi on iPhone and iPad.
Help us make everyday cooking feel a little easier. Install the beta through Apple’s TestFlight app, bring a recipe you love and tell us how it goes.

Your way in
Let’s get cooking.
On your iPhone or iPad, follow these three steps.
Install Apple’s TestFlight app
It’s free on the App Store. Download it on the device you’ll use to try Zuppi.
Get TestFlightAccept your Zuppi invitation
Once TestFlight is installed, open your Zuppi invitation link on the same device. In an invitation email, tap View in TestFlight.
Join the Zuppi betaInstall Zuppi and open it
Tap Accept if prompted, then Install next to Zuppi. Open Zuppi from your Home Screen and follow the welcome steps.
Zuppi requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. TestFlight shows whether your device meets the current beta requirements.
New to beta testing?
Meet TestFlight.
TestFlight is Apple’s free app for trying apps before they’re released on the App Store.
Think of it as the place you install and update the early version of Zuppi. A “beta” is a work in progress: you get to try what we’re making and help us spot anything that needs a little more seasoning.
Once installed, Zuppi works like any other app on your Home Screen. Return to TestFlight for updates, the latest What to Test notes and feedback.
Open TestFlight → Zuppi and turn on Automatic Updates, or tap Update when a new build appears. Back up or export important recipes before testing.
The whole experience. No charge.
Yes, you can try
Zuppi Plus for free.
You can subscribe to Zuppi Plus inside the TestFlight beta without spending anything.
Apple processes these subscriptions in its test environment, called the sandbox. No real payment is taken, even if Zuppi shows a monthly or yearly price.
Apple confirms it before you subscribe.
On Apple’s purchase confirmation screen, look for the message explaining that this is a test purchase and you won’t be charged. The wording can vary by device and language.
How to activate Plus
- Open the Zuppi app you installed through TestFlight.
- Go to More → Settings → Explore Zuppi Plus.
- Choose an available plan and tap the subscribe button.
- Read Apple’s test-purchase message, then confirm using Apple’s on-screen instructions.
- Return to Zuppi and check that your membership shows Zuppi Plus. Try the Plus features shown on the membership screen.
Your test subscription does not become a paid subscription when the beta ends. Test purchases do not carry over to the App Store version; any later paid subscription needs a separate purchase approval.
Start with something delicious
Give it a real kitchen test.
No technical experience needed. Start with one recipe you’d actually cook, then try a little more whenever you have time. Check TestFlight’s What to Test notes for each new build, too.
Bring a recipe in.
Import from a website or social post, use the iOS share sheet, or paste a recipe. Compare ingredients, quantities, servings, photos and method with the original.
Make it yours.
Edit a recipe, organise it in a folder, favourite it and find it with search. Add notes or a rating, then reopen Zuppi to check everything has stayed put.
Cook something.
Change the serving size, follow the method and try a timer. Look for unclear quantities or awkward steps. Try translation with a recipe in another language.
Plan, shop, repeat.
With Plus active, add meals to your plan. Send ingredients to your shopping list, tick them off and try your pantry. Check quantities and saved changes.
Share a little.
Try a recipe link, friend invite or Home with another tester. Check that shared changes arrive and that personal notes, favourites and cooking history stay personal.
Put Plus through its paces.
Try the free test subscription above. Check that Plus unlocks, stays active after reopening and can be restored using Settings → Restore Purchases while the test subscription is active.
Have an iPad, another device or a little more time?
Try portrait and landscape on iPad, larger text, dark mode and VoiceOver. Tell us about clipped buttons, hard-to-read text or anything you can’t reach.
With sync enabled and the same Zuppi account on both devices, check recipe edits and folders. Try a spare recipe offline, reconnect and watch for missing changes or duplicates. After updating, check that your existing recipes and photos are still there.
Good, bad or a little confusing
Tell us how
it went.
Small details make a better Zuppi. Bugs, ideas, confusing moments and things you enjoyed are all welcome.
Email your feedbackSend feedback through TestFlight
Open TestFlight → Zuppi → Send Beta Feedback. Add a description and screenshots if helpful. If Zuppi crashes, send the crash feedback when TestFlight offers it.
A useful bug report includes:
- What you tried, what you expected and what happened.
- The steps to make it happen again.
- Your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, and Zuppi version and build number from TestFlight.
- A screenshot or short recording. For an import issue, include the recipe or post link.
You can also use More → Get in touch in Zuppi or email hello@zuppi.recipes. Hide personal details in screenshots and never send passwords or payment information.
A helping hand
A few good
questions.
Why can I see a price if Plus is free to test?
The app uses the normal subscription products so we can test the full experience. In the Zuppi version installed through TestFlight, Apple simulates the purchase without taking payment. Read the test-purchase message on Apple’s confirmation screen before confirming.
This applies to TestFlight purchases. An existing paid App Store subscription is separate and is not cancelled by installing the beta.
Why did my test subscription expire so quickly?
Apple speeds up subscriptions in TestFlight: they renew daily, up to six times within a week, regardless of the plan’s normal length. These are free test renewals. You can subscribe again to continue testing Plus after it expires.
Plus is already active, or I can’t find the subscribe button.
Check More → Settings for your membership. If you previously used Testing → Test membership, choose Use Apple subscription to test the actual Apple subscription flow. The Free and Plus testing overrides only preview access.
If an active test subscription isn’t recognised, try Restore Purchases. If plans don’t load, check your connection, update through TestFlight and send us the message you see.
My invitation won’t open, or the beta is full.
Install TestFlight first, then reopen your Zuppi invitation on that device. Check the requirements shown on the invitation. If the beta is full, no longer accepting testers or has no available build, email hello@zuppi.recipes with the message you see.
TestFlight says the build has expired.
Each build can be tested for up to 90 days. Open TestFlight and install the latest Zuppi update. If there isn’t one, let us know. Updating over your existing app is better than deleting it and risking local data.
Can I stop testing, and what information is shared?
Testing is optional. To leave, open Zuppi’s details in TestFlight and choose Stop Testing. Export anything important first.
Apple shares beta usage, crash information and feedback with the developer. Read Apple’s TestFlight guide, the Zuppi Privacy Policy and our beta testing terms for details.
